This message has been on my mind and my heart for the past 4 days and I knew I needed to do a bonus episode to get this message out.
Last week I interviewed a lady and she told me the Tale of Two Wolves.
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”
He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
What does your evil wolf say to you? What does your good wolf say? Which one do you feed and what does it mean to feed it?
I have come to learn that my evil wolf is my negative self talk and it DESTROYS my confidence. The good wolf speaks encouragement and love to my soul. It builds me up and gives me hope and belief. This wolf BUILDS my confidence.
We feed our inner wolf by giving it our TIME, ENERGY and BELIEF. I hope and pray that you feed your inner good wolf, because I know as you do your confidence will start to grow and shine.
